WALT DISNEY: BAD INVESTMENTS
Walt Disney in this day and age needs no introduction – but in his days as a struggling filmmaker, the story was quite different. Before founding the Walt Disney company, he filed for bankruptcy when his investment went belly up and he was cheated by a conniving partner. But one bad experience couldn’t deter him, and so he took a loan to found his company where he debuted Mickey Mouse and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – and the rest is animation history. It’s amazing to see that his hard work paid off in the end because the world would have been a pretty different place had it not been for all the Disney movies that we’ve been getting Walt’s success ended up changing the planet.
