Sinbad gained Hollywood repute for making us laugh, but after facing quite a few daunting money woes, the former star of Houseguest rarely cracks a smile these days. Also known as David Adkins, the actor and comedian filed for bankruptcy in 2009 that his depleting earnings were insufficient to cover his debt – and his $200K bank account balance surely wasn’t going to cut it. Surprisingly, he has absolved himself of any financial planning errors, insisting that he invested in others and not on frivolities. That, of course, wasn’t enough to free him from the overwhelming debt that he faced, and his life has been turned around for the worst. It’s likely that he may still lead a comfortable life, but we doubt that he’ll see as much money as he used to.
