Jay Leno And Mavis Leno – Together Since 1980
James Douglas Muir “Jay” Leno is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer, and erstwhile late-night television host. After being a popular stand-up comedian for years, he became the host of the popular show, NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009.
He and his better half Mavis have been together for 39 years. Well, he shares, a secret as to how they been able to stay happy together for so many years, “Here’s the secret: You marry your conscience … You marry the person you wish you could be. That’s what I did.”
While Leno is busy hosting his show, Mavis is a staunch believer of women’s rights and issues and works for these powerful causes. They are happy in their world and it also helps that Leno has a pretty impressive bank account. So they don’t have to worry about any financial issues. We hope they continue to be happy in the years to come.
