There’s So Much Going On
Fashion does not exist in a box. So people are encouraged to experiment with different fabrics, textures, and trends to figure out what works best for them. While that is good advice on paper, in practice, it gives room for certain atrocities. Like the one in this photo.
We’ve got a dress made out of some flimsy cotton, perhaps. Then a lace trim and fur shawls. Maybe it’s the bright pink of the flowing locks, but this just seems like overkill. One wonders what sort of wedding they were invited to and if they weren’t worried about stealing the limelight from the bride.
