Belinda Carlisle – 1958
Belinda made the 1980s more melodious with the 1987 hit song At Some Point during their life. Her other song, Heaven is a Place on Earth, won her the number one position in the US and the UK and a Grammy nomination for best female pop vocal performance. Belina began her musical career as a drummer for the punk rock band The Germs at 19.
However, Belinda was looking to break free and establish her name as a solo singer. She teamed up with Margot Olavarria, Elissa Bello, and Jane Wiedlin and formed the band Go-Gos. Their first song Beauty and Bit, was a number one hit in the US.
Carlisle’s personal life is equally successful too. She is in a happy relationship with Morgan Mason for four decades now. She is currently working on a new album, and fans are looking forward to it!
