The banker, Phillippe Junot, may not have banked on marrying a royal when he was in his youth, but his lucky stars brought him love in the form of Princess Caroline of Monaco, and the two wed in a courtyard ceremony in 1978. But things weren’t so rosy, and after that (and another wedding to Stefano Casiraghi), Princess Caroline finally found the love of her life in Prince Ernst August of Hanover, to whom she is still married to this day.

While there have been rumors of disagreements between the two, there is no confirmation of such news and for now, we can assume that Princess Caroline and Prince Ernst August are managing their differences just fine. Perhaps there will be a long and happy marriage for Princess Caroline’s daughter, too, who married in 2019 and so it still a newlywed!
