Christie Brinkley is perhaps one of the most famous model-turned actresses in Hollywood. After a superbly successful career in modeling and appearing in more than 50 magazine covers, she had enough money in her bank to last her till her retirement. But it looked like Brinkley wanted more from life and went on to switch careers. Her acting career took off, and she got success there, too.
