Juice Newton – Born 1952
With her strong musical prowess, country music star Juice Newton began her career right from her college days, playing instrumental folk music in local coffeehouses. It was in the early ’70s that she made her debut with the album Juice Newton & Silver Spur in collaboration with Tom Kealey, venturing into a solo career soon after. The early ’80s saw her gain success in her pop career, and very soon, Newton made herself known internationally. Today, even though she has no retirement plans, Newton spends her free time trading horses, and remains a great example of young talent. Where many others would have lapsed into addiction or ended up in rehab or juvie, Newton remained focused and made the most of her success.
