These Successful Companies Are Known For Their Bold and Striking Logos
Walmart
Walmart can clearly be labeled as the king of retail and it is one of the most successful chains of stores in the world today. Though the company has met up with several challenges as of late from e-commerce platforms, Walmart has risen to the challenge and come across the globe as the go-to supplier providing a vast range of products.
Walmart was founded by Sam Walton in Rogers, Ark., in 1962. The logo has gone through several changes over the past few decades, earlier it had an old-time Western-themed font to brown block letters and now you use the iconic logo splashed in today’s blue and yellow signage.
The first logo was designed way back in 1962, and as you can see, it was very plain. The logo that was fairly western in 1964 transformed into something more modern in 2000.
