Couldn’t Believe it At First
The numbers matched. Cindy simply couldn’t believe it at first. She blinked again to tell herself that what she was seeing was not wrong, but was the absolute truth. At first, she called up her husband Mark and said in jest that she almost had a heart attack and she simply couldn’t believe that she had won the lottery!
Cindy next called up her mother-in-law Shirley as well, and both of them kept looking at the ticket over and over again, checking the numbers thrice. But the numbers were all there 5, 23, 16, 22, and the last one turned out to be 29. They were in fact holding the biggest winning lottery ticket right there in their hands and their hands trembled in excitement.
