Jackie was used to people talking about her when she was feeding her babies. Although she feels a little unnerved about the staring, she knew she would have to continue to feed her baby, because that is what she needs to do as a mother.
Jackie was aware of the people murmuring under their breaths. She couldn’t understand this part of people, why they couldn’t accept a mother feeding a baby in a public place. It is something that is completely natural and people much just let mothers be. While she has been able to accept it, it is important that people also accepted it.
