Although Bodi didn’t have any kids of her own, she knew she did not have a similar experience in her life but she knew how the mothers must have felt when they are subjected to creepy stares. She wanted to normalize something as easy and as natural as breastfeeding.
Why should women feel uncomfortable feeding their own kids? She thought of doing something different, she wrote on the bills that she had bought one of their pizzas and she asked Tom to thank his wife for breastfeeding. She knew it was a small gesture but it would definitely make her feel better.
