Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton – Together Since 1971

Arguably one of the best couples that the US has seen, Bill and Hillary have put up with each other and their holy matrimony for about 50 years! That’s almost the same time they devoted themselves to national politics and global affairs. Bill had served as the governor of Arkansas before becoming the president of the Democratic Party, from 1993 to 2001.

Apart from his political contributions, Bill was actively involved with the William J. Clinton Foundation to address vital causes like AIDS prevention and global warming, from an international standpoint. His autobiography My Life that was published in 2004 also created ripples.

Once the first lady of the US, Hillary and Bill met each other in 1971 when they studied at Yale Law School. Hillary had also worked as a senator from 2001 to 2009. She was the first woman to win the very popular vote in the American presidential election in 2016.
