Nestor Araujo es ejemplo de dedicación, empuje y constancia. Durante diez años se ganó a pulso el reconocimiento de todos tanto dentro como fuera de la cancha. Durante esos diez años jugó en el Cruz Azul y el Santos Laguna sin pasar desapercibido. Quien siempre lo acompañó durante toda su carrera fue su esposa La comentarista deportiva Odette “La Chapis” Méndez. Ella ahora se dedica al sector de maquillaje y belleza en España, mientras apoya la fructífera carrera de su esposo.
