Con esta nueva oportunidad y un nuevo estilo de vida, Néstor empacó maletas y se fue para España, pero no lo hizo solo. Quien siempre lo acompañó durante toda su carrera fue su esposa La comentarista deportiva Odette “La Chapis” Méndez. Ella ahora se dedica al sector de maquillaje y belleza en España, mientras apoya la fructífera carrera de su esposo.
