Actress Penelope Cruz had difficulty selling her Hollywood Hills home, which featured three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a swimming pool. In 2010, she and her actor husband Javier Bardem listed their home for $3.695 million on the market. After another year of waiting, both sellers reduced the price to $3.1 million.
The house was sold in 2012 for $2.88 million, the final price. Cruz got the apartment for $250,000 less than what he paid for it at the beginning. A private courtyard, carved wooden doors, French doors, floor-to-ceiling windows, bamboo flooring, and a gourmet kitchen were just a few of the home’s many fine features. The Hollywood Hills mansion’s annual property taxes are $42,877, a significant disadvantage.
