When you think of the city, you don’t think of a French castle tucked in the middle of modern New York City. However, at 4720 Grosvenor Avenue, there is a French Provincial Castle. With a floor area of 3,281 square feet and five beds, the castle was completed in 1926.
Renowned architect Frank Forster designed the castle. His family’s land in the Republic of Croatia inspired him to develop this castle, which was built by the owner of a shipping company (a precursor to today’s corporations like FedEx). There is a $2.7 million asking price for the castle right now.
