Steve Cohen, who manages hedge funds and is expected to have a net worth of $14.1 billion by 2020, is generally considered a brilliant entrepreneur. On the other hand, it would appear that he does not have the Midas touch when selling a Manhattan double penthouse. In 2013, he began marketing the penthouse with an asking price of $115 million.
Over time, the price dropped from $98 million to $57.5 million, representing a savings of 50 percent. Because Cohen is a dedicated art collector, the apartment is furnished with several paintings (though only some of his collection is housed in the Manhattan penthouse). The worth of his group, for which he is well-known for paying extravagant prices, is estimated to be one billion dollars. His collection includes famous pieces. In addition, the penthouse features a total of five bedrooms and six bathrooms for its occupants’ use.
