Wilzig is not only a successful businessman and entrepreneur, but he is also a race car driver on a semi-professional level. The part Leonardo DiCaprio played in The Wolf of Wall Street was inspired by Wilzig’s.
Wilzig has sold his mansion in Tribeca for $44 million. Even though the townhouse’s exterior had become visibly more subdued and tranquil over time, the sale of the property was highly challenging. It wasn’t until October 2018 that Wilzig could finally locate a buyer for the $29 million property he owned.
