Randy Travis – Born 1959
Randy Travis is a country music artist and Christian country musician, as well as an occasional actor. He started his career in the 1970s and received quite a bit of success throughout the ’80s. His single, “Forever and Ever, Amen” was immensely successful and even reached the Billboard chartbuster list. He has also made a foray into acting and is known for several roles in both movies and TV shows. Travis did have to deal with some legalities both during the end of his marriage, as well as, for the time when he was arrested for a DUI charge. Apparently, his lawyer was hired to deal with some felony charges against him as well. Travis suffered a severe stroke some time back, though his health insurance thankfully took care of the bills. He has returned to music since his ailment.
