Julia Gabriel Unger, más conocida como Jael Unger, es una actriz de teatro y televisión chilena con una larga trayectoria y considera una de las intérpretes más rentables de los 80, manteniendo ese liderato femenino durante más de una década.
Las interpretaciones más destacadas de Jael fueron entre otras, La sal del desierto, La madrastra, Trampas y Caretas, Rojo y miel, La noche del cobarde, entre muchas más. Y ha obtenido a lo largo de su gran trayectoria, grandes premios y reconocimientos, entre los cuales se pueden mencionar, cinco premios APES como mejor actriz de teatro, así como mejor actriz de televisión, y un Laurel de Oro a mejor actriz de teatro.
Aunque en 2003 anunció su retiro de las pantallas, Jael volvió a participar en 2014 en el reestreno de la obra Cartas de Jenny, obteniendo nuevamente la gran aceptación del público. Hoy, a sus 80 años y reflejando en su rostro una paz y gran espiritualidad, está retirada totalmente de la actuación y está dedicada totalmente a ser guía espiritual del sistema isha.
