El labrador callejero que Dasiy había estado viendo en el parque durante los últimos cinco días seguidos lo llevó a pensar seriamente en adoptar y, al final, decidió seguir adelante y darle al perro un hogar para siempre.
Como resultado, decidió ganarse su confianza atrayéndolo con golosinas sabrosas y juguetes entretenidos, y esta táctica parecía estar dando los resultados deseados. Pero mientras procedía a acariciarlo, de repente, tuvo la sensación de que había algo alrededor de su cuello. Esta sensación persistió hasta que dejó de acariciarlo.
