The internet was buzzing when a video of an imposter Captain Jack Sparrow from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise went viral. It featured a man, later identified as Jess Weber, who had interrupted an NBC 4 reporter, Madison Brooks, who was covering the finale premiere of “Breaking Bad” on Hollywood Boulevard.
Weber’s presence had seemed to be a bit too close for comfort, with him even reportedly smelling her hair, leading to speculation that it could be an act of harassment. However, The Huffington Post later reported that the clip was a staged prank and the woman was an actress named Kristin Sargent.
