At Boulder Creek, Colorado, anglers are in for a nice treat. The creek is an awesome fishery loaded with brown trout and many different types of angling opportunities. The available fishing area covers over 30 miles of water that drains the rocky mountains to the west of Boulder and the surrounding plains.
With larger and smaller water pockets all around the river, this is a small hidden gem that is any fisherman’s dream. While it is mostly populated with brown trout, fishermen are also likely to find many different species, such as rainbow trout, cutbow trout, cutthroat, and occasionally, brook trout.
