The Refusal of Ukraine To Allow Tourists To Enter The Country
Ukraine decided to keep tourists out of the country after the incident, and it was not before 2011 when the government made up their mind to allow tourists to return. The tours start from Kyiv and there are some strict rules and guidelines that need to be followed. A radiation monitor is handed over to every single tourist in case they decided to stay near Chernobyl for a stipulated time. Personal injury lawyers have welcomed this decision by the Ukrainian government and believe that the country has taken quality measures in the best interests of the tourists.
