Najmat Taiba at Deira Gold Souk
In 2011, visitors to Dubai’s traditional market, Deira Gold Souk, witnessed the Najmat Taiba, translated as “Star of Taiba.” This colossal 21-carat ring, priced at an estimated $3 million, boasts a weight of nearly 64 kilograms and is adorned with 5.1 kilograms of precious stones. Crafted meticulously over 45 days by 55 artisans, it sparkles with 615 Swarovski stones.
Although constructed in 2000 for $547,000, its value has skyrocketed over the years. Garnering recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records and the World Gold Council, this opulent piece was showcased by Kanz Jewellers to augment its allure.
