Tucked away in Umm Al Quwain, just a 55-minute drive from Dubai, lies the serene Mangrove Beach at Khor Al Yeefrah. Its shores are adorned with public amenities such as wooden swings and parasols that shield from the sun. The Department of Tourism and Antiquities of Umm Al Qaiwain officially inaugurated it in 2020, underscoring its commitment to environmental tourism and preservation. This is the UAE’s second public mangrove destination, following Abu Dhabi’s Jubail Park, which boasts activities like kayaking amidst its captivating boardwalk.
