Dubai’s commitment to world-class entertainment reached new heights with the opening of Motiongate in December 2016. Situated in Dubai Parks and Resorts, this Hollywood-inspired theme park pays homage to the giants of cinema: DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures, Lionsgate, and even The Smurfs.
Guests enter through Studio Central, a boulevard reminiscent of Tinseltown, leading to studios with tailored attractions. Columbia Pictures brings the spooks with “Ghost Busters” and “Hotel Transylvania”, while DreamWorks celebrates animated wonders like “Shrek” and “Kung Fu Panda.” The Smurfs Village is a nod to the iconic blue characters. Lionsgate spotlights a thrilling “Hunger Games” ride and a dance extravaganza from the “Step Up” series.
