This was when former KTLA 5 presenter Liberte Chan made headlines when once more for her wardrobe choices during a live broadcast. While wearing a shimmering black dress, she received criticism from viewers who felt the attire was too revealing for a weather presenter. Her co-worker then handed her a cardigan, explaining that they had received numerous comments about her clothing.
This sparked a debate on social media, with many discussing the double standards of how male and female presenters are judged based on their clothing. Since then, Chan has moved on from the network, now serving as the CEO of Softub Spas®. This LA-based company manufactures portable, energy-efficient hot tubs.
