Turning Into An Invisible Woman
Liberte Chan is a weather forecaster for the “Weekend Morning News” show. During one of her on-air appearances, she experienced an amusing situation when her clothing blended into the green screen behind her, making her nearly invisible in the background. Fortunately, a colleague stepped in and offered her a jacket to wear on camera.
Chan handled the situation gracefully as a professional with a Meteorology and Broadcast Journalism certificate. This experience didn’t completely teach her to be more careful when selecting her wardrobe because, in the same year (2016), she experienced another fashion gaffe. Chan worked for the KTLA 5 show for nine years, from 2012 to 2021.
