Contrairement à ce que certains fans pensent, Mimie Mathy n’a pas pris sa retraite. Certes, elle gère un restaurant avec son mari Benoist Gérard, mais elle n’a pas arrêté de jouer. Toujours aussi active, elle continue à illuminer le petit écran.
Connue surtout pour son rôle dans Joséphine, ange gardien, Mimie est apparue dans plusieurs séries et téléfilms. En 2020, on l’a vue dans « I Love you coiffure » et « Dix pour cent », et elle a été à l’affiche de « Le Prix de la trahison ».
