He Didn’t Mean To Dive In Like That
The Commonwealth Games is a premier event held every four years, which brings together athletes from around the world. In 2018, England hosted the Games, attended by 6,600 athletes and team officials from 70 countries. BBC presenter Mike Bushell was assigned to interview some swimmers, including Adam Peaty.
Despite his warnings to be careful, the “BBC Breakfast” reporter stumbled and ended up in the pool in the middle of the interview. Bushell was drenched entirely, and the water also damaged his microphone. The incident created a stir among the spectators and was captured on camera, although it cut the interview short.
