Always In Service

Princess Diana was particularly interested in the Red Cross’ work overseas, so she went to work on projects in different countries. While on one of her missions in March 1993, she warmly greeted townspeople in a remote village in Nepal.

It was for a July 1993 Red Cross project for refugees. She also helped raise global awareness of the consequence of landmines and visited those living with life-altering injuries sustained due to the devices.
