45 Rarely Seen Photos of Princess Diana You’ve Never Seen Before

In 1995, Princess Diana and her two sons attended the V-J (Victory in Japan) Day 50th Anniversary celebrations in London. It marked the end of World War II, a few months after the VE Day 50th Anniversary affairs. After a grand ceremony at Horse Guards Parade the night prior, the royal family attended a service and parade outside Buckingham Palace.

This was a special moment for Prince William and Prince Harry, who laughed and had fun with their mother. In the 2017 documentary about his mother’s life, Prince William recalled that Diana was a relaxed and informal mother who could show her sons the joys of life outside the palace walls.
