El espíritu de la colmena es una de las mejores realizaciones cinematográficas españolas. El galardonado director español sigue activo en la industria de las artes y el entretenimiento. Los fines de la década de 1960 fueron el comienzo de su carrera en el cine y trabajó en películas, incluida The Challenges.
