Stealth vs. Blissful Ignorance
This trail cam captures what might be nature’s most mismatched game of hide-and-seek. The mountain lion looks ready to put its stealth skills to work, creeping closer with each silent paw step, while the hare seems blissfully unaware, basking in its dazzling whiteness under the moonlight like a scene from a children’s bedtime story.
We can almost hear the lion muttering, “This is too easy,” while the hare probably thinks it’s the main character of the forest. Little does it know, confidence only goes so far when your nighttime glow makes you look like a glowing buffet entrée on legs.
