Haley Joel Osment teve indicações ao Óscar e ao Globo de Ouro por melhor ator coadjuvante e trabalhou com dublagens e mais dois filmes, Lições Para Toda a Vida e Os Anjos da Guerra. Infelizmente, parece que o estrelato precoce e muito dinheiro não funcionaram muito bem para o ator. Haley lutou contra o alcoolismo durante anos e, apesar do seu talento, ele não conseguiu decolar em Hollywood. Além do álcool, o ator ganhou muito peso e sua aparência mudou radicalmente.
