Joseph Sacristan
El actor hispano José Mara Sacristán Turiégano ha aparecido en la pantalla, el escenario y la televisión. Su nombre artístico, José Sacristán, le ha aportado mayor fama. Fue galardonado con el Premio Nacho Martínez durante la edición de 2015 del Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón.
En la 60 edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián en 2013, fue nombrado “Mejor actor”, lo que le valió el prestigioso premio Silver Shell. El actor español se retiró de la industria de la interpretación debido a problemas de salud que le impedían seguir una carrera en el teatro.
Porque su obra reflejó, reconoció el fin de la censura de la dictadura y el enorme paso hacia la democracia en las artes, en especial el séptimo arte, José, por su esfuerzo. Debido a este logro, José se hizo famoso. Por su implicación en el landismo, se opuso firmemente al gobierno de Franco.
