Walter Mercado fue el más conocido y mediático astrólogo que ha existido en la televisión de habla hispana. De hecho es muy raro encontrar un personaje como él a nivel mundial, ya que la astrología no es tomada en serio la mayoría de veces y aunque puede que algun noticiero o pagina de periódico le de un espacio, generalmente no es el suficiente como para que sea importante o haga alguna diferencia.
