Denzel Washington è un attore, regista e produttore cinematografico americano.Ritenuto uno dei massimi interpreti della storia del cinema, ha ricevuto numerosi premi per il suo lavoro fin dagli anni ’80. La notorietà infatti è arrivata nel 1989 col film “Gloria” , in seguito Denzel si è distinto per l’interpretazione di ruoli molto toccanti come l’attivista anti-apartheid sudafricano Steve Biko in “Grido di libertà”, l’attivista per i diritti umani Malcom X nel film omonimo, il pugile Rubin Hurricane Carter in “Hurricane- Il grido dell’innocenza” e molto altro ancora. L’attore vanta un patrimonio personale di 250 milioni di dollari.
