Beauty on the Sidelines: How Soccer’s Most Stylish Fans Awed the Public
IRAN
Iran has a rich history and culture, known for its ancient civilization, art, and architecture. One of the country’s specialties is calligraphy, which is evident in their traditional art’s intricate designs and patterns. Iranians also have a strong soccer culture.
While the fan’s outfit, showing the number ten worn by Iranian soccer players Sardar Azmoun and Karim Ansarifard, is admirable, it should be noted that body painting and wearing specific clothing is considered indecent in Iran. It may be against the country’s cultural norms. While this woman couldn’t express her support like this in her country, she was free to do so in a foreign country.
