Juice Newton – Né en 1952
Avec ses exploits musicaux, la star de la musique country Juice Newton a commencé sa carrière dès l’université, jouant de la musique folklorique instrumentale dans les cafés locaux. C’est au début des années 70 qu’elle fait ses débuts avec l’album Juice Newton & Silver Spur en collaboration avec Tom Kealey, s’aventurant dans une carrière solo peu de temps après. Au début des années 80, elle a connu le succès dans sa carrière pop, et très vite, Newton s’est fait connaître sur le scène internationale. Aujourd’hui, même si elle n’a pas de projets de retraite, Newton passe son temps libre à échanger des chevaux et demeure un excellent exemple pour jeune talent. Là où beaucoup d’autres auraient sombré dans la dépendance ou se seraient retrouvés en désintoxication ou en détention juvénile, Newton est restée concentrée et a tiré le meilleur parti de son succès.
