Pietro Lombardi was born on June 9th, 1992 in Karlsruhe and was anything but an enthusiastic student in his youth: Even before he graduated from secondary school, he dropped out of school and moved from one job to the next. But even if it didn’t look like a great career at first, he has always been an enthusiastic singer and took the chance to take part in the casting for the eighth DSDS season, which he ultimately even won.

Die von Dieter Bohlen geschriebene Single “Call my Name” eroberte nach dem Finale Platz eins der deutschen und österreichischen Charts und auch in der Schweiz führte Pietros Sieger-Single wochenlang die Charts an. Auch das zugehörige Album “Jackpot” wurde zum Top-Seller und schoss sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Österreich an die Chartspitze.
