Best Rock Bands Who Had Impressed Their Fans Over The Years With Their Scintillating Performances

Rush

Rush was a Toronto-based Canadian rock band formed in 1968 and helmed together by the guitarist Alex Lifeson, drummer John Rutsey and bass guitarist/vocalist Jeff Jones, who was then replaced by bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee. After Lee joined, the band went through several configurations before he arrived at its classic power trio lineup with the addition of drummer/lyricist Neil Peart in July 1974, who replaced Rutsey. However, this lineup remained intact for the remainder of the band’s career.

Rush hasn’t put up a live performance together since they wrapped their R40 Live Tour in 2015, and since the legendary drummer Neil Peart left the band, their gigging days may be over. However, the remaining members including the other vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson may still offer many other future shows and give millions of fans who’ve enjoyed many of their scintillating performances over the years.
