Best Rock Bands Who Had Impressed Their Fans Over The Years With Their Scintillating Performances

The Allman Brothers Band

The Allman Brothers Band was an American rock band hailing from Jacksonville, Florida in 1969 and was created by brothers Duane Allman, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks, and Jai Johanny “Jaimoe” Johanson. They incorporated elements of blues, jazz, and country music, and their live shows were one of a kind featuring jam band-style improvisation and instrumentals.

One of the most legendary gigs in the history of The Allman Brothers Band was performed on March 13, 1971, at Fillmore East Theater in New York. The band gave scintillating performances to the audience and their 23 minutes of Whipping Post was one of the most popular live shows. Just three months later, the Allman Brothers Band returned to Fillmore East to make their performances one of the most popular ones ever.
