Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who released 20 studio albums, most of which have his backing band, the E Street Band. It was originally from the Jersey Shore and is said to be one of the originators of the heartland rock style of music. They have juxtaposed the mainstream rock musical style with their style of narrative songs about working-class American life. Springsteen was known for his poetic, socially conscious lyrics and energetic stage performances and he successfully sang for four hours at a stretch. No wonder he has been nicknamed the Boss.

Springsteen’s live performances are known for their energy and stamina, too. His show in Helsinki, Finland, on July 31, 2012, lasted for over four hours.  Springsteen is known for his impromptu performance which his audiences lapped up with glee.
