Metallica’s performance at Moscow’s Tushino Airfield on Sept. 28, 1991, as part of Monster of Rock ’91, was known to be one of their most standout performances. It was the first free show and it was a personal record for the band; where more than a million people turned up to see them play, making it one of the most-attended shows in the history of rock concerts.
