The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones is an English rock band formed in London in 1962. They were active for six decades and are one of the most popular and enduring bands of the rock era. They had a stable line-up that had Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts. It was Jagger and Richards who became the primary creative force behind the band.

The Stones had stopped touring in 2007 but it was only in 2012 with their “50 & Counting” tour that they were able to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary, which is one of the biggest concerts ever that had stalwarts such as Mary J. Blige, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Lady Gaga, Florence Welch and Bruce Springsteen.
