Pink Floyd is an English rock band formed in London in 1965. They were the first of the British psychedelic groups and they were set apart by their extended compositions, sonic experimentation, philosophical lyrics, and elaborate live shows. They were one of the most popular bands belonging to the rock genre, cited by some as the greatest progressive rock band of all time.
One of their most popular songs turned out to be “The Wall.” They had a wall in the first half of each show and spent most of the second half hiding behind the audience. There were times when the brick would fall and terrify the hell out of the audience.
