Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin was an English rock band formed in London in 1968. The group had Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. They are known for their heavy, guitar-driven sound, and their style was heavily influenced by blues and folk music. Led Zeppelin has been known for the development of album-oriented rock (AOR) and stadium rock.
Led Zeppelin frequently continue to wow arenas and stadiums around the world during the 1960s and ’70s. In the U.S., they played at Madison Square Garden more than any other venue. They played for an audience in Garden in July 1973 and became a best-selling feature-length film and soundtrack called “The Song Remains the Same,” which featured the Black Dog, The Ocean, and Misty Mountain Hop.
